I know that if she is behind schedule, it is because she is giving a fellow patient the amount of time and attention that anyone with this awful disease deserves. I've been going to Dr. Afrooz since 2021 and before she switched buildings to this one. She gets to know her patients well and always knows what to look for and test for. She's been so vital in my quality of life and has helped me and my family every step of the way. Even when I was at my darkest, she was there helping from the sidelines. Dr Afrooz is my favorite. She is very knowledgeable and patient with her patients. I was always feeling very tired and lethargic and I was thinking that maybe I had long covid. But Dr Afrooz knew all the right questions to help identify that my condition is related to tick bites instead from a hiking trip I had gone on. I ask a lot of questions and she seems to not find me to be frustrating and i know that she is straightforward because she’s not afraid to say I don’t know if she does not know the answer to any of my questions. Nor is she dismissive of me whether it be ideas as to what I think could possibly help me or if I tell her something does not feel right.
